FRANKLINVILLE – A man was arrested Wednesday after police raided a Town of Franklinville property where they say methamphetamine was being produced.
Michael J. Conners, 31, was charged with a felony count of unlawful manufacture of methamphetamine; additional charges are pending.
After an investigation by the Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force, authorities raided a property at 7656 Weller Road on Wednesday afternoon, finding an active meth lab, according to the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office. The State Police Contaminated Crime Scene Emergency Response Team and local fire departments also were summoned to the scene.
Along with multiple ounces of finished methamphetamine, authorities also seized ingredients used to make it, deputies reported.
Following arraignment in Franklinville Town Court, Conners was sent to the county jail in lieu of $25,000 bail.
