Before she was the boss of “The Good Wife,” Christine Baranski was getting wide critical acclaim for her work in the CBS comedy “Cybill.” Before that, she was a Buffalo gal and a graduate of Villa Maria Academy.
The Emmy and Tony winning actress returned to Villa in 2000 to tell graduates to follow their hearts.
" 'I actually stood exactly in this spot 30 years ago to address my senior class as salutatorian,' the Buffalo native told the 41 members of the Class of 2000.
" 'At that time, I was infinitely thrilled to be leaving this school,' she said.
"Now she was glad to be back."
