#PrepTalkResume: Sibick won his second straight Monsignor Martin Association individual title.
Statistics 101: Sibick, after sharing individual title as a co-champion his junior season, fired a 5-under-par 67 to take this year's crown by six strokes despite inclement, rainy conditions at River Oaks Golf Club on Grand Island. He competed in three straight state Catholic tournaments and finished sixth in the overall state Federation tournament at Bethpage Black his junior year.
Favorite moment in H.S. competition: "Sophomore year, completing an undefeated season and winning the Monsignor Martin team title."
Favorite teammate: Alex Fisher.
Toughest opponent (team): Canisius.
Toughest opponent (individual): JD Dantonio.
Role model: Jordan Speith
Pro/college athlete I look up to: Jordan Speith
I wouldn't be Prep Talk Player of the Year without ... "Frank Sacheli, Ronald Montesano, my parents, Allen Miller."
When I'm not playing or practicing my sport, I'm ... "working out or hanging out with my friends."
What's ahead: Sibick will play golf while attending the Naval Academy next year.
