Three Buffalo males were arrested early Sunday and charged in the beating of another man in the Fillmore-Leroy neighborhood, Buffalo police reported.
Facing charges of first-degree reckless endangerment, second-degree assault and second and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon are: Tiwan K. Speakes, 19, of Jefferson Avenue; Brandon Scott, also 19, of Wakefield Avenue; and a 17-year-old male.
The victim told Northeast District officers he was at Jewett and Fillmore avenues just after midnight when the three men, along with three other unknown suspects, allegedly punched him in the face several times and hit him in the back of the head with a glass liquor bottle.
The men chased the victim as he fled and fired three shots from an unknown firearm, according to a report. The men were arrested in the 100-block of Jewett, the report stated.
