Duplicate Bridge: June 6

Part II of the World Wide Bridge Contest will be played at noon this Saturday, June 6, at the Airport Bridge Club and the Bridge Center of Buffalo.


The Airport Bridge Club offers NAP qualifiers with triple points, half red, at all of its games Sunday, June 7, through next Sunday, June 14. Pre-registration is required for Sunday games. Call 603-6943.


The Bridge Center of Buffalo will have a mentor game for beginners at noon Monday, June 8, and offers lunch with Jim Gullo at 10:30 a.m. Friday, June 12. The club will be closed next Saturday, June 13, for the Unit 116 Strawberry Social and game at 12:30 p.m. at Lockport Duplicate in the Dale Center, 33 Ontario St., Lockport.


The Sectional Tournament at the Clubs (STaC) takes place Monday, June 15, to Sunday, June 21, at local clubs, awarding silver points and bonus points for district-wide high scores. The Airport Bridge Club will have STaC games at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. Monday, June 15, to Saturday, June 20.


Western New York Unit 116 schedules unit-sponsored games regularly. They include:
