JAMESTOWN – What began as a routine arrest warrant stop of a car on Broadhead Avenue Thursday afternoon ended in the arrest of Aaron F. Phillips, 35, on a variety of charges related to the production of methamphetamines.
When Phillips was pulled over on an outstanding court warrant, officers found a quantity of suspected methamphetamine in his vehicle. A search warrant was obtained for his Wilton Avenue home, where agents of the Jamestown Metro Drug Task force, State Police and Jamestown police reported finding meth manufacturing items.
Phillips is being held on charged of firth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, criminal use of drug paraphernalia and third-degree unlawful manufacturing of methamphetamine.
