Mexican pop-up on wheels hits Hertel

The Black Market Food Truck and Mexican chef Victor Parra Gonzalez, who runs Youngstown's Jaguar at the Bistro, will team up for a one-night menu next Monday.

The menu includes lengua tacos, pork pibil tortas, braised octopus with romesco sauce and fava beans, and atole, a corn drink. Dessert will include doughnuts filled with ancho chile ganache.

The one-night menu will be served out of the truck, parked between Colvin and Saranac avenues, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., or until it's gone, Gonzalez said. Michael Willmott and Christian Dimmer have kept the Black Market Food Truck serving while they work on their restaurant Marble + Rye, set to open at 112 Genesee St. this summer.
