Falls man takes plea deal in apartment entry

LOCKPORT – A Niagara Falls man, whom police said they caught exiting a vacant apartment house, pleaded guilty to a reduced charge of second-degree criminal trespass Tuesday before Niagara County Judge Matthew J. Murphy III, who scheduled sentencing for July 21.

Pablo C. Morales, 34, of 24th Street, stole nothing in the May 17, 2014, entry to a 23rd Street apartment house, Assistant District Attorney Kevin D. Canali said. Morales could be given up to a year in the County Jail for his misdemeanor plea. Originally, Morales was indicted on a felony burglary charge.
