Free concert series starts Tuesday in Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus park

Bill Smith and Harmony Griffin of the Buffalo alt-country group Ten Cent Howl will kick off the second annual free Tunes in the Tent concert series from noon to 1 p.m. Tuesday in National Grid Park, Ellicott and Virginia streets on the Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus.

Listeners can bring lunch or take advantage of the Roaming Buffalo food truck or La Belle Epicure at the park.

Several of the bands include employees from the medical campus. The schedule includes:

Bruce Wojick, next Tuesday; Jamie Holka, June 16; Mari McNeil, June 23; Mark Winsick, June 30; the Observers, July 7; Alison Pipitone, July 14; Ten Cent Howl, July 21; Theresa Quinn Trio, July 28; Dee Adams and Dave Kimball, Aug. 4; Rosewood Bridge, Aug. 11; and the Larkin Plan, Aug. 18.
