Tuesday, 7 p.m.: Talking Leaves Books presents readings by poet Cheryl Quimba and novelist, music critic and punk rock musician Michael T. Fournier. Quimba is an editor at Prometheus Books and the publicist for Starcherone Books. Her chapbook, “Scattered Trees Grow in Some Tundra,” will be published this summer by Sunnyoutside Press. Her full-length collection, “Nobody Dancing,” will be released later this year by Publishing Genius. Fournier is the author of two novels: “Hidden Wheel” (Three Rooms Press, 2011) and “Swing State” (Three Rooms Press, 2014), as well as “Double Nickels on the Dime” (33∑/Continuum), a book-length discussion of the 1984 Minutemen album of the same name. He is founder and co-editor of Cabildo Quarterly, a broadsheet literary journal, a drummer in the band Dead Trend, and a guitarist in the band Tooth and Germ. He lives in western Massachusetts.
