The free two-hour training sessions on the use of Narcan to treat overdoses of opioids or heroin have proven so popular that Erie County is adding three more sessions.
The new sessions are:
• 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Thursday at the Orchard Park Fire District office at 30 School Street between S. Lincoln and Route 277.
• 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. June 10 at the ground-floor conference room at Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital, 1540 Maple Road, Amherst.
• 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. June 24 at the Lake Erie Beach Volunteer Fire Company, 9483 Lakeshore Road, Angola.

The new classes are in addition to the sessions conducted on the first Wednesday evenings and first Thursday mornings each month through October at the Erie County Fire Training Academy, 3359 Broadway, Cheektowaga.
