Three workshops to offer help in applying for state funding available through the state’s regional economic development council program will be held in Western New York during the next month.
The sessions are aimed at helping businesses, groups and government entities learn about the funding available through the economic development initiative and how to apply. The council covers Erie, Niagara, Allegany, Cattaraugus and Chautauqua counties. The deadline for applying for funding is July 31.
The first workshop will be held from 1:30-4 p.m. Wednesday at D’Youville College’s College Center Building in Buffalo. A second session will take place from 1:30-4 p.m. June 15 at the Cutco Theater in the Jamestown Community Center in Jamestown. A third workshop will be held from 1:30-4 p.m. June 29 in the Cascades Ballroom of the Niagara Falls Conference Center in Niagara Falls.
