The concert series formerly known as Niagara River Rocks has been rechristened North Tonawanda’s Rockin’ on the River Concert Series, and will include four concerts at Gratwick Park in North Tonawanda on Friday evenings throughout July.
The series gets underway on July 10 with a bill featuring Canadian EDM/rock duo USS (Ubiquitous Synergy Seeker).
On July 17th, a multi-act jam-band bill will find reggae/dub/jam headliners Soja joined by Giant Panda Guerilla Dub Squad, Aqueous and Skye Pilot.
Classic rock lovers will get their day in the sun on July 24, when former Foreigner vocalist Lou Gramm and his band will be joined by Radio 9 and Magone.
The series will wrap on July 31 with Warren Haynes featuring Railroad Earth. This show will feature three sets from the headliners – a set of Railroad Earth, a set of the Warren Haynes Band, and then a closing set featuring Haynes fronting Railroad Earth. The Jeremy Hoyle Band will handle opening duties.
All of the shows will be all-ages events and free, with VIP admission packages available, through NTRockinontheriver.com.
