Countdown to the #PrepTalkAwards: Interview with guest speaker Steve Tasker

The biggest night in Western New York high school sports is less than three weeks away, and our guest speaker is ready to go.

The Prep Talk Awards, presented by UBMD Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine, will be held on Monday, June 15, and -- for the second straight year -- they will be held at the Hyatt Regency Buffalo.

It's Oscar Night for WNY high school sports: We will honor the Prep Talk Players of the Year in every sport that we cover, along with the All-Western New York first teams in football and boys and girls basketball -- as well as some very special Prep Talk Awards: Male and Female Athlete of the Year, Coach of the Year, Team of the Year and Program of the Year.

Check out News Deputy Sports Editor Keith McShea's interview with Buffalo Bills all-time great and CBS sportscaster Steve Tasker. Tasker will be the guest speaker at the Prep Talk Awards, and he discusses that, along with his own experience as a high school athlete, and a high school parent in Western New York, among other topics.
