Miebohm Fine Arts gallery will host a reception for “The Ridge,” a fundraising exhibition of oil paintings, watercolors and mixed media reflections of Chestnut Ridge Park by 23 local artists. The open-house style gathering from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday is part of an effort to highlight the park and raise money for the park conservancy.
The project, organized by Miebohm, started last fall with an invitation to artists to make work for the show. The gallery at 478 Main Street will feature the exhibition through August. A portion of proceeds will go towards signs, plantings and restoring the murals in the old casino lodge.
