HANOVER – A West Seneca woman was charged with failure to yield the right of way following a two-car crash at 11:30 a.m. Saturday in the Town of Hanover at the intersection of Route 39 and Hanover Road.
According to the Chautauqua County Sheriff Department, Deborah Nye, 61, pulled in front of another vehicle causing the collision. She was issued a traffic ticket charging her with failure to stop at a stop sign and will answer charges in Hanover Court.
Nye’s passenger was treated at the scene for minor injuries. Two passengers in the other vehicle suffered non-life-threatening injuries and were transported by ambulance to Lakeshore Hospital.
