FC Buffalo earns draw

Bobby Ross and Andrew Coughlin saved the day as they combined to clear two chances late by Detroit to save FC Buffalo’s 1-1 draw on Saturday night at Robert E. Rich Sr. All High Stadium.

A regular-season record crowd of 1,220 watched FC Buffalo (1-0-1) remain unbeaten on the young season as the team got a rise out of the crowd in the 64th minute when Dylan MacVane knocked in Matt Ferguson’s corner kick to give the hosts a 1-0 lead. Detroit’s Josh Rogers tied it 15 minutes later, taking advantage of a handball call in the box.

FC Buffalo visits FC Indiana on Friday during a two-games in three days Midwestern swing. Buffalo plays the Indiana Fire on May 31.
