NIAGARA FALLS – Peter P. Robinson of Lockport, head of the PBJ Project that collects peanut butter and jelly for local food pantries each year, will be honored as citizen of the year by the Niagara Falls Kiwanis Club Saturday.
The award will be given at the 28th annual John T. Anderson Community Service Awards Dinner in the Four Points Sheraton, 7001 Buffalo Ave., Niagara Falls. Tickets are $40.
Other honorees will include the Niagara Community Action Program as organization of the year; Diane Hoffman as Kiwanian of the year; and Laurie Davis as a Niagara Falls Kiwanis fellow. There also will be a special tribute to the late Merrell A. Lane, longtime head of the Niagara Military Affairs Council.
