Woman, 52, in critical condition after Wilson collision

WILSON – Both drivers involved in a two-car crash at the intersection of Wilson-Cambria and Braley roads remain hospitalized Thursday in Erie County Medical Center in Buffalo.

Rosemary Curry, 52, of Ransomville, is listed in critical condition and Vanessa Van Horn, 25, of Wilson is listed as fair. Both were airlifted to the medical center following Wednesday morning’s collision.

Niagara County sheriff’s deputies said Curry was traveling east on Braley, which has a stop sign, when she pulled into the intersection and into the path of Van Horn’s southbound car.

The women are being treated for unspecified injuries. Both were wearing seat belts and the air bags in their vehicles deployed on impact, deputies reported.

The sheriff’s Accident Investigation Unit continues to look into the cause of the collision.
