43North contest busing in Toronto entrepreneurs

The organizers of the 43North business plan competition are sponsoring a bus trip to Buffalo for Toronto-area startups.

43North, in partnership with Startup Grind Toronto, is planning the bus trip for May 28 to bring Toronto-based entrepreneurs to see the 43North/Z80 Labs incubator and the Design Innovative Garage (dig) co-working space on Ellicott Street. The participants also will take part in Startup Buffalo Grind’s fireside chat with Empire Genomics President and CEO Anthony Johnson.

“Buffalo has a lot to offer and can be a very convenient hub and jumping off point for Canadian startups looking to enter the U.S. market,” said Peter Burakowski, the marketing director for 43North, which is offering a top prize of $1 million to the grand prize winner of its second annual competition.
