Sounds of simpler times will be filling the walls of the intimate 9th Ward at Babeville on Friday as a trio of Western New York Americana acts – the Observers, Pine Fever and the Younger Gang – will share the stage.
Nearly a year to the date of the release of the band’s self-titled debut, the Allentown-bred Observers continue to carve out a special niche for itself as one of the leaders of Buffalo’s folk music community. Supporting the Observers will be rag-tag busking outfit Pine Fever, who just played one of the busiest Porchfest shows in the festival’s young history, and Rochester’s traditionally rooted act, the Younger Gang.
The show will kick off at 8 p.m. Friday in the 9th Ward (341 Delaware Ave.). The cost is $12. For info, visit babevillebuffalo.com.
