Former Buffalo Bills defensive back Mark Kelso will be among the presenters May 20, during the second annual Youth Football Symposium/Parents & Players Clinic in Niagara Falls.
The free event begins at 6 p.m. at LaSalle Preparatory School’s football field, 7436 Buffalo Ave. It’s open to children ages 6 to 14 and their parents/guardians who are interested in learning about new initiatives, in compliance with USA Football protocols, to help make the game a better and safer sport for youth.
The event is sponsored by the Niagara Erie Youth Sports Association.
Information will be presented on topics such as concussion awareness and proper equipment fitting, among other things.
Kelso, who currently works as a Bills’ color commentator and USA Football ambassador, is presenting the clinic with Preston Teague, the Bills’ director of community relations and youth football; Ken Stoldt, the Section VI football chairman and a USA Football master trainer; and Aaron Hill, USA Football’s east regional manager.
