Preserve key buildings along Buffalo’s skyline
I follow the development of Buffalo with great interest. I came to Buffalo in 1956 when downtown was still vibrant, a great place to shop, dine and find many types of entertainment. Main Street was lit up with movie theaters, shops, department stores, restaurants, etc.
It is great to see new hotels downtown, and read about what developers have in mind for the future. Life is finally coming back to the city. But I hope two buildings are not forgotten before they turn to dust – the Statler and the former HSBC building. They are a part of Buffalo’s skyline and should stay alive.
