"Go!" -- a mural by Bruce Adams and Augustina Droze that won a public art competition earlier this year -- is slowly taking shape on the south face of 95 Perry St.
On Monday afternoon, Adams and Droze were still hard at work priming the bricks with gesso so that the bright colors they plan to layer onto the building -- possibly starting as early as Tuesday-- will stick.
The team's design, which won out over a submission from Buffalo artist Shasti O'Leary Soudant, features Buffalo grain elevators, a woman's face screaming out the piece's title and other visual echoes of the Cobblestone District's industrial heritage:
