Two connected to thefts and mayhem at Niagara Falls liquor store

NIAGARA FALLS – A homeless man who injured a shopper before scuffling with employees of a Niagara Falls Boulevard liquor store Friday evening was rrested for thefts from that and another nearby store, police said.

When officers arrived at Supermarket Liquors just before 7 p.m. Friday, store security personnel had Timothy J. Paolinipinned to the ground and had seized his switchblade and brass knuckles, police said.

According to police reports, Paolini and a female accomplice tried to steal a bottle of liquor from the store. While being pursued by store security personnel, Paolini shoved a shopping cart into a woman who suffered minor injuries, police said.

Police said they recovered three cans of beer and some beauty products stolen from the nearby Walgreen’s store on Military Road earlier.

Paolini and Jessica L. Graczyk, 22, of East Avenue, Lockport, were charged with third-degree robbery, fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, petit larceny, criminal possession of a hypodermic instrument and fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.
