Kenmore Garden Club and the Town of Tonawanda will celebrate Arbor Day at 10 a.m. Friday. Every year the club donates a tree to the town. This year a pink Robin Hill Serviceberry has been planted on Sweet Briar Court and will be dedicated by town officials.

The club will meet again at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Kenmore United Methodist Church, 32 Landers Road. Joanne Bassett, from the American Iris Society, will present “How Does Your Iris Grow?” Members will exchange baskets of perennials from their gardens. Guests welcome.

In conjunction with the Holland Tulip Festival, the Federated Holland Garden Club will hold its annual Standard Flower Show from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday at the Brink Memorial Community Center, Legion Drive, Holland. The theme is “Small Town/Big Dreams.” For information, call Christine Wheaton at 537-9710.

Evans Garden Club will hold its 10th annual Plant Sale & Auction from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the Evans Center Volunteer Fire Co., Route 5, Angola. The auction is at 11:30 a.m.

East Aurora Garden Club will meet at noon Monday in St. Matthias Episcopal Church, Main and Maple streets, East Aurora. Park in rear lot. Judy Tucholski-Zon, National Garden Club master judge and certified instructor in the Ichiyo School of Ikebana, will present a program and workshop on the “Art of Ikebana.” Guests welcome. East Park Garden Club will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the home of Rosemary Madejski. Members will make final preparations for the annual plant sale to be held 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. May 16 at Grand Island Town Hall, 2255 Baseline Road, Grand Island.

Ken-Sheriton Garden Club will celebrate May Day at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, 576 Delaware Road, Kenmore. The program will be a small artistic design titled “Tea for Mom.” Members will create their own designs in a tea cup with gathered greenery and flowers. Members will finalize plans for the plant sale May 30. Business meeting to follow.

Countryside Garden Club of Elma will meet at 10 a.m. Wednesday at member Fran Reed’s home. Linda Blyth will present “Unusual and Late Blooming Perennials.”

Amana Garden Club of West Seneca will meet at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Burchfield Nature & Art Center, 2001 Union Road, West Seneca. The annual plant and garden-treasure auction will follow the business meeting. Visitors welcome. For information, call 875-5563.

Hamburg Garden Club will meet at noon Wednesday in the Hamburg Community Center. Melissa Marcus, master gardener and flower show judge, will present various table designs and tips for entering designs in a flower show.

Western New York Herb Study Group will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Buffalo and Erie County Botanical Gardens, 2655 South Park Ave. Alice Clarkson, from Orchard Fresh grocery store, will present “Healthy Eating with Herbs.”

Lancaster Garden Club will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday in St. John’s Lutheran Hall, 55 Pleasant Ave., Lancaster. Nellie Gardner will speak on tools for the garden. Guests welcome.

Youngstown Garden Club will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday in the basement of First Presbyterian Church. Members will make items for the June Flower Market and Plant Sale. The civic beds cleanup will take place from noon to 4 p.m. next Friday and 9 a.m. to noon May 16.

Town & Country Garden Club will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday in Transit Middle School, 8730 Transit Road, East Amherst. Joanne Bassett, from the American Iris Society, will present “What to do after the Iris bloom.” A plant and perennial exchange will be held. Guests welcome.
