Man with 100 bags of marijuana sentenced to probation

LOCKPORT – A Buffalo man who was arrested in a drug raid on a house on Pierce Avenue in Niagara Falls last year was placed on five years’ probation Wednesday by Niagara County Judge Sara Sheldon.

Antonio S. Green, 23, of Birch Place, had pleaded guilty to a reduced charge of attempted second-degree criminal possession of marijuana for the April 9, 2014, incident.

“It was 100 little bags of marijuana. Those weren’t for his personal use. They were for sale. We all know that,” Sheldon said.

In another drug case Wednesday, Julie M. Myers, 53, of West Street, Sanborn, admitted to seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and was scheduled for sentencing June 24 by State Supreme Court Justice Richard C. Kloch Sr. She had been accused of selling hydrocodone April 25, 2014.
