LOCKPORT – The City of Lockport will mill damaged pavement off parts of eight streets about June 1 and eight more in late July, Mayor Anne E. McCaffrey said Wednesday.
The first set of streets to be repaved after removal of pothole-ridden pavement includes Chestnut, Market, Vine, Pine, Hawley, High and Main streets and Davison Road. The midsummer lineup includes parts of Niagara, Van Buren, Grove, Price and Ohio streets, Bewley Parkway and Lincoln and Beattie avenues.
In addition, McCaffrey said, Passaic Avenue will be repaved but not milled in the late summer.
“In the meantime, we’re going to patch, and pave what doesn’t need to be milled,” the mayor said.
