Eichel, USA face Belarus at 10:15 a.m. on NBCSN

Jack Eichel and the United States will try to improve to 4-0 at the world championships Thursday morning when they face Belarus. The game will be televised by NBCSN at 10:15 a.m.

While lacking the name recognition of Russia (Team USA’s previous opponent), Belarus enters the game with a 2-0-1 record. Belarus’ penalty killers are 9 for 9.

Eichel will once again center New York Islanders left wing Brock Nelson and Los Angeles right wing Trevor Lewis. Though listed as the fourth line by USA Hockey, they played the most minutes Monday in a 4-2 victory over Russia.

Eichel has one assist and five shots while averaging 17:15 of ice during the United States’ three victories.
