MAYNARD, Elizabeth May (Blakeley)

MAYNARD - Elizabeth May (nee Blakeley) Of Java, NY, May 6, 2015, homemaker, daughter of the late Henry Kleinschmidt Blakeley and Anna Bragg Blakeley. Born February 26, 1932 in the Town of Aurora. Married Otis Maynard, Jr. June 1, 1949 at the South Wales Presbyterian Church. She loved church, family, friends and gardening. Survived by sisters Norma Herman of California, Shirley Becker of North Carolina, Sally Louire Adams of Georgia and Douglas (Ella) Blakeley of Kentucky; children, Bonnie (Robert) Jae of Varysburg, Beverly Morlang of Reno, NV, Donna Silliman of Arcade, Alan (Doris) of Allegany, NY, Dean (Robin), Brian (Diane) of Akron, NY, Carol Becker of Holland, NY; 21 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews; predeceased by sister Hazel Freyburger, brothers-in-law Walter Maynard, Charles Maynard and Alvin Maynard and an infant son. Elizabeth was a proud member of First Congregational Church of Java Village, Order of Eastern Star Vernon Chapter II in Java Village, Daughters of the Nile, Ladies Oriental Shrine of North America, Curriers Grange No. 1273, State and National Grange, WNY Draft Horse and Pony Club (Charter Member) Beaver Meadow Audubon Society, NY State Covered Bridge Society, Decendants of the Mayflower, Buffalo, Society Daughters of the Revolution (Mary Jemison Chapter), Holland and Java Historical Societies, Holland, Strykersville and East Aurora Senior Citizen Clubs and the Red Hat Society.
