NIAGARA FALLS – A Niagara Falls woman said two men robbed her of her cell phone as she walked along Walnut Avenue on Sunday afternoon.
The 34–year–old woman told police that she was walking in the 700 block of Walnut Avenue at 5:30 p.m. when one man bumped into her. She said one of the men grabbed her phone and she tried to fight back.
She told police one of the men punched her in the head and the other had a shiny metal object, which he used to cut her hands, her stomach and her left upper leg. The two men then fled with the phone, which was valued at $700.
The woman was treated at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center for her cuts.
