Patrick Kane always keeps track of his hometown, as he proved once again Sunday night.
After scoring twice to give Chicago a 2-0 series lead over Minnesota, Kane dedicated the victories to the late Pat Eddy. The Hamburg resident, who was in his mid-30s, died April 26.
“Those couple wins are for one of my buddies who passed away back home, Pat Eddy,” Kane said during an interview on Sportsnet. “Rest in peace, buddy.”
