It's not quite outdoor concert season but we are in the teeth of outdoor concert announcement season.
The Valley Community Association on Thursday unveiled the 2015 Buffalo River Fest Park summer concert schedule. This is the fourth year for the Wednesday evening performances which run from from 6:30 to 10:30 p.m. starting June 3 and running until Sept. 2.
Acts have yet to be lined up for Aug. 5 and Sept. 2, but here's the rest of the lineup:
June 3 – Bleeding Hearts
June 10 – Crash Cadillac
June 17 – Wide Right
June 24 – West of the Mark
July 1 – Buffalo Five
July 8 – Screaming Pineapples
July 15 – Disco Duck
July 22 – Heard of Buffalo
July 29 – Everett Lee & Underground Stampede

In addition to the Wednesday concert series, Buffalo River Fest Park will also serve as the location for the fourth annual “Wardstock” festival on Aug. 1 and the “Halfway to St. Patty's Day Party” on Sept. 11. Both events will feature live entertainment and are free to attend.
Buffalo River Fest Park is located at 249 Ohio Street. Parking is free. No personal coolers are allowed at the park; however, refreshments are available for purchase, with proceeds supporting park maintenance and other riverfront development efforts. Lawn chairs and blankets are recommended. Rain will force concert cancellations, so check the park's Facebook page for updates.
