LOCKPORT – Level 2 sex offender Raymond P. Boskat Jr. was sentenced Thursday to 18 months in state prison and 10 years of post-release supervision for violating the terms of his probation in a statutory rape case.
Boskat, 41, of Ridge Road, Newfane, was sentenced by State Supreme Court Justice Richard C. Kloch Sr. for third-degree rape, stemming from a sexual relationship with an adolescent girl in 2010 and 2011. Boskat violated probation by failing to register properly under the Sex Offender Registration Act, as well as by having access to pornography on his laptop computer and his cellphone.
In another sentencing by Kloch Thursday, Susan L. Fogarty, 44, of Oliver Street, North Tonawanda, was sentenced to a year in Niagara County Jail for attempted third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance. Fogarty was admitted to the judicial diversion program in August 2013 but washed out of treatment. She sold oxymorphone to a police informant in 2012.
