Lockport School Board incumbents are unopposed

LOCKPORT – There will be no competition for the Lockport Board of Education in the May 19 district election, as the only candidates to file nominating petitions by Wednesday’s deadline were the three incumbents whose terms are about to expire.

Board President John A. Linderman and Trustees Thomas W. Fiegl and Kevin W. Pratt will be unopposed for new three-year terms.

District voters also will pass judgment on a $90.87 million budget that would increase the tax levy by 2.03 percent.
