Collins is extremely physical and should make an immediate impact as a starting strong safety. He patterns his game after one of the most physical safeties to ever play in the NFL, the late Sean Taylor, of the Washington Redskins. Collins is expected to be the only safety selected in the first round.

Randall’s impressive performance at the NFL Scouting Combine could elevate him to near the bottom of the first round, but he is more likely to be a Day Two pick. He is physical enough to be a strong safety, but his frame makes him better suited to play free safety. … Amos is athletic, smart, and does a good job in man coverage. … Tartt has excellent size and strength and is a good tackler.

Class grade

D

This is, by far, the thinnest position in the draft. Collins appears the only player in the group with anything approaching a first-round grade.
