Kiefer Douse, a junior college transfer from Jacksonville College in Texas, is another addition to the Canisius College men’s basketball guard corps for the 2015-2016 season. A native of Brampton, Ont., the 6-foot-3, 175 pound Douse averaged 8.6 points, 3.5 rebounds and 2.6 assists per game for the Jaguars. He started 22 games shooting 50.8 percent includiong 20 of 54 from three-point range. He will have two seasons of eligiblity at Canisius.
Malcolm McMillan, who had verbally committed to Canisius, signed his financial aid agreement. The 6-foot guard will compete as a graduate student for the Griffs. He will complete his undergraduate degree at Central Connecticut State College next month. McMillan played just two games for CCSC last season because of a back injury but started 87 games the three previous seasons.
They join 6-8, 230-pound Ron Gombe, a transfer from Valley Forge Military College in Wayne, Pa. Gombe will have three years of eligibility starting next season.
