ROEHMHOLDT, Gloria Marie (Wahl)
ROEHMHOLDT - Gloria Marie (nee Wahl) Was reunited in heaven with her beloved husband Roland "Roz" on April 15, 2015 at age 90. Gloria was a graduate of Pine Hill High School and was a part time model at Oppenheim Collins while attending Bryant & Stratton Business School. After achieving her degree, she worked in the office at Worthington Pump and also maintained the bookkeeping at J.C. Penny's for 9 years. Throughout her business career, she displayed her love and passion through teaching many the piano for 45 years. She was wed in 1944 to the love of her life, Lt. Col. Roland R. Roehmholdt, and enjoyed 53 years of marriage until his passing in 1998. Mrs. Roehmholdt was the dearest mother of Wade (Kathleen) of Vermont and predeceased by Gary (Kathleen) and Faye Clark; loving grandmother of five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; dear sister of Dolores (late Eugene) Booth; sister-in-law of the late Marlene (late Adrian) Roehmholdt; also survived by many nieces and nephews. The family will be present on Saturday, May 2, 2015 from 9-11 AM the Urban-AMIGONE FUNERAL HOME, 3645 Genesee St. (2 blocks east of Union Rd.), Cheektowaga, where a Funeral Service will immediately follow at 11 AM. Friends invited. Interment in St. John Cemetery to be held privately for the immediately family. Gloria enjoyed many activities including being a member of the Red Hats, Sunshine Girls, the Pine Hill Beauties, was an avid bowler who was proud to hold the Highest Average Title in 1968. She also enjoyed her cousins many lunch outings they spent together. Flowers gratefully declined.
