ALBION – Motorcycle Safety Awareness Month will kick off May 3 in Orleans County with a rally and 50-mile ride.
The county’s chapter of American Bikers Aimed Toward Education has scheduled a 2 p.m. ceremony at the county courthouse, at East State and Main streets, where invited speakers will stress the importance of rider safety and education, and remind motorists to look twice for motorcycles. Riders are asked to assemble at 1 p.m.
Immediately after the ceremony, there will be a 50-mile ride within the county, ending at Lincoln Post 1483, Veterans of Foreign Wars, 216 E. Center St., Medina. The event will be held rain or shine.
