LOCKPORT – More than 30 vendors will be on hand Friday at the Kenan Center, 433 Locust St., for “Mom’s Night Out,” the second annual fundraiser to benefit the Kenan Center’s Montessori Preschool.
Admission is free for the event, set from 5 to 9 p.m. Offerings will range from massage therapy, wine and chocolate to clothing, makeup, jewelry, and children’s toys. Booths will be set up in the Kenan House and the Taylor Theatre meeting room.
School director Jennifer Anzalone said the 2014 event offered only eight vendors, but it was a hit, with many more asking to participate the next time.
“It’s really a wonderful social shopping event for women to enjoy – moms, grandmothers, aunts, sisters, girlfriends. We invited vendors that we thought would appeal to women, but significant others are welcome, too,” Anzalone said.
Food from Scripts Café will be served in the Taylor Theater. There will also be a basket and quilt raffle.
