Pennsylvania fugitive in a counterfeiting investigation found in Jamestown

JAMESTOWN – Jordan T. Adams, 28, a fugitive sought by Pennsylvania State Police on multiple charges in a counterfeiting investigation, was located and arrested Thursday by Jamestown police in an Axtel Street home here.

Adams, who reportedly faces up to 162 felony counts of forgery, conspiracy, theft by deception and retail theft for allegedly using counterfeit $50 bills throughout Pennsylvania, was initially held in the Jamestown City Jail but was later transferred to the Chautauqua County Jail in Mayville where he will remain pending extradition proceedings to send him back to Pennsylvania, according to Jamestown police spokesmen.
