A Delta Air Lines plane circled back to Buffalo Niagara International Airport on Thursday after encountering a possible problem after takeoff.

Flight 1672 took off shortly before 11 a.m., bound for Atlanta, when a possible problem with one of the plane’s two engines developed, the airline stated. The MD-88 aircraft landed without incident and maintenance technicians are evaluating the plane.

There were 174 passengers and five crew members aboard the plane.
