Blasdell Village trustees are considering limiting how long recreational vehicles and campers can be parked on village streets.
Problems arise for neighbors pulling out of driveways and other motorists when the high-profile vehicles are parked on the street.
“The streets aren’t particularly wide,” Village Administrator Janet MacGregor Plarr said, adding the village has received a number of complaints about the parked vehicles.
The proposed local law would limit how long an RV, camper, motor home or trailer could be parked on village streets to no more than two hours on any given day.
The vehicles would not be prohibited in the village, but would have to be parked on private property, Plarr said.
A public hearing will be conducted at 6 p.m. Wednesday in Village Hall, 121 Miriam Ave.
