The Consumer Product Safety Commission announced two product recalls Wednesday.
Massachusetts-based Euro-Pro has recalled four types of Shark upright vacuum cleaners due to a shock hazard. The vacuum’s wand can become detached from the unit, retaining live electricity to which consumers could be exposed.
The affected vacuums, sold in the Rotator and Powered Lift Away series, have model numbers NV650W, NV651, NV652 and NV660.
Roughly 142,000 of the recalled units have been sold at stores such as Bed Bath & Beyond, Best Buy, Kohl’s, Lowes and Target, as well as online and through infomercials from Aug. 2014 through March 2015. They retailed for $250 to $350. For more information, call 1-877-593-5140.
J. Crew has expanded a recall on a children’s coveralls because snaps on the clothing can come detached and pose a choking hazard.
The footed pajama-style outfits were sold in sizes newborn to 2T in various colors and designs. The following style numbers, which can be found on a care tag sewn to an inside seam, are affected: A8248, A8249, A8251, A8252, A8273, A8274, A8276, A8341, A8358, B3605, B3606 and B3607.
