LOCKPORT – A woman who allegedly entered a Niagara Falls home and tried to steal ramen noodles and macaroni and cheese was arraigned on a felony indictment Wednesday in Niagara County Court.
Andrea I. Jordan, 47, of no permanent address, pleaded not guilty to second-degree burglary and attempted petit larceny.
A 19th Street resident told police she caught Jordan in her home on the afternoon of Nov. 17, trying to take cases of the food items from a sun porch that the woman used as a pantry. Jordan reportedly told the woman she thought the house was vacant, put the food back and fled. She was captured a short time later on Welch Avenue.
