Complete Senior Care named Peter Firestone a social worker at the agency. Firestone received his master’s degree from the University at Buffalo and also served as a fellow with the Hartford Partnership Program in Aging Education. CSC provides medical, social and support services needed to keep frail elders living at home instead of a nursing home.


WBFO-FM 88.7 appointed Mike Mroziak a reporter in the radio’s newsroom. Mroziak was most recently the sports editor at Niagara Gazette. He graduated from Ithaca College.


Daemen College honored faculty and staff with its 2015 Faculty and Staff of the Year Awards recently. Honorees are: Dr. Mary Lou Rusin, chair and professor of nursing, Outstanding Faculty Award; Joyce Strobel, publications assistant, Outstanding Staff Award; and Dr. Mimi Harris Steadman, associate vice president for institutional effectiveness, Outstanding Administrator Award.

Company Connections

Autism Services recently opened Resource Center, located at 97 Main St. in the Village of Hamburg. The Resource Center will host an open house from noon to 3 p.m., Saturday. The center is open to the public and is made possible as a result of ongoing support from J.P.’s Foundation and its annual Run the ’Burg, that takes place on June 6 this year.


Moog Inc. and All Nippon Airways signed a 10-year exclusive contract for comprehensive support of the Moog Flight Control Systems and Products on ANA’s fleet of 787 aircraft. The program will include maintenance, spares, pooling and on-site technical support.
