LeRoy man arrested for alleged drug sales to undercover agent

BATAVIA – A 38-year-old LeRoy man was arrested at his Lake Street Road home by Genesee County sheriff deputies Tuesday for alleged drug sales to an agent of the Genesee County Drug Task Force.

Jason P. Andrews was charged with two felony counts each of 5th-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and 5th-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance. He was arrested for allegedly selling narcotic pills to an undercover agent in the Town of LeRoy.

After his arraignment before Genesee County Judge Robert Noonan he was released under the supervision of the Genesee Justice program pending further court proceedings. The Genesee County District Attorney’s Office, county sheriff deputies and LeRoy Village police assisted the Drug Task Force in the investigation of Andrews.
