Last seen performing under the setting sun at last summer’s Silo Session launch party at Silo City, Brooklyn’s art rock act, Landlady (think TV on the Radio, Dirty Projectors, Peter Gabriel), will once again be in Buffalo, this time Wednesday in Mohawk Place as part of the latest Public Picnic fundraiser. A forthcoming joint venture between live video series blog Silo Sessions and the Public, the Picnic is set to debut sometime this summer under the shadows of the grain elevators as an open forum to share ideas, music and food (it is a picnic after all).
Joining Landlady on stage will be Buffalo’s soaring space rockers, Aircraft (who will be debuting a new drummer after the departure of founding member Ian Be), and the always reliable lake-pop foursome Bryan Johnson & Family.
The show begins at 8 p.m. and is asking for $7 at the door. Please come prepared with ideas and suggestions for upcoming discussions at this summer’s Public Picnic events.
