The North Tonawanda Public Library will hold its annual Friends of the Library used book sale April 30 through May 3.
Hardcovers are $2, paperbacks are $1, romance-style paperbacks are 50 cents, magazines are 25 cents or five for $1, CDs and DVDs are $1, while records, audio cassettes and VHS tapes are 25 cents. Prices on coffee table books vary.
Sale hours are from 9:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. April 30, 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. May 1, 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. May 2 and 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. May 3.
May 2 and 3, patrons can bring a brown paper bag and fill it for $5. The library is located at 505 Meadow Drive in North Tonawanda.
To get first crack at the books during an advance sale April 29, join Friends of the Library for $5 per year or $8 per family, per year.
Friends of the library support the library, its activities and its patrons financially and by volunteering.
