Falls crack dealer pleads guilty, is promised a chance on probation

LOCKPORT – Niagara County Judge Sara Sheldon promised a Niagara Falls crack cocaine dealer Monday that because she had no prior criminal record, she will be given a six-month chance to prove herself on probation before final sentencing.

Jaquinda S. Hall, 36, of Whitney Avenue, pleaded guilty to fifth-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance for the $180 sale June 11, 2013. She must pay back the money to the county Drug Task Force.

Sheldon said she will place Hall on interim probation July 13, and Hall’s performance during the six months will determine whether she receives a full five-year probation sentence or goes to prison for as long as 2 1/2 years.
